I was just reading on bbc.co.uk about Mike Ashley’s proposed take over of Newcastle Utd, He has bought Freddie Shepherds shares, taking himself to 70+% ownership of the club. However that isn’t what grabbed my attention, as you may or may not know, St James’ Park (newcastles home ground) has a capacity of little of 52000 people.

However, according to the bbc, it’s over 60000.

“The club, famous for its black and white strip and Magpies nickname, has sell-out crowds of more than 60,000 at most home games”

After some random clickage round the net (i spend alot of time doing that), I came across this strange story on ananova.com.

A stone growing long white hair was given a price of 10 million yuan (£650,000) at an art exhibition.

The stone, exhibited at the 3rd China (International) Treasure Stone Exhibition, is around 30 cm long and has 15cm long white hair.

Staff of the exhibition say the hair must be the remains of a kind of fungus, which grows on the surface of the stone and makes it look like a hairy head, reports Tianfu Morning News.

Looking at my sites stats tonight, I have had 4,925 hits today alone!

I have had 3000+ 2 days in a row now, but I thought it was just a random spike type thing, but since its happened for a 3rd day I thought I’d mention it :smile: Along with a strong week this takes my hits for the month upto 20,161 and counting!

I wonder if anyone can guess why i’ve had a sudden rise in hits? haircut anyone? :lol: lol

Just like to say thank you to anyone who has visited the site and left comments over the last month! :wink:

As requested, I have found a similar thing to the Virtual Barbershop, its called Cereni Holphonic. This one (in my opinion) isn’t as good as the barbershop, but still quite good. it involves matches, but thats all i’ll say :wink:

Great North Run

A couple of days ago I posted the Virtual Barbershop. I was just checking where my websites hits are coming from, I saw that one had got here by searching for ”Virtual Barbershop” on Google. I followed the link to the search results and was rather amazed to find I was 3rd in the results :smile:
