Further Changes…

I have finished (with a bit of help)a few of the changes mentioned yesterday. We now have a working archives/post categories page, contact page, links page, my youtube page and a games page. I also have a gallery page which is going to be basically powered by Flickr, however, the page isn’t quite working yet…

I’ve removed somethings from the sidebar because they now have pages of their own, the normal search bar is gone because my google search bar is closer to the top now.

Yet again, I’m open to any suggestions, just fill in the contact form found here

Changes

If you visit the site often, in the next few days (or whenever i get time) you will notice my sidebar (as well as other things) is going to change. I have written pages for my links and archives/post categories. I’m looking for to add other pages, and if anyone has any ideas, i’m open to suggestions, so leave a comment.

I’m still here…

Just a quick note, Sorry I’ve been away for ages! I will be back properly in the next fews days. I havent been around for a while because, firstly my site was brought down by people miss using the virtual barbershop! and secondly, it seems some Telephone Companies and ISP’s aren’t interested in keeping customers!

BT reckoned I hadn’t paid them, and told AOL that I wouldn’t be using my broadband on this number again and to disconnect it! I have subsequently got my phone back on and then I’m waiting for AOL to reactivate my broadband again. But they have given me free dial up!!! until then. woo hoo.

Once my broadband is back up I will be posting lots more and I will have new content etc…

Calling All Gamers

I am after a new graphics card for my PC, as mine is a little weak for my liking.

My current system is: A dell Dimension 5100 – 3.0ghz Pentium 4, 1.50gb of ram (ddr i believe) 80gb hard drive.  The current graphics card is an ati x300 se 128mb hypermemory pci-e. 

I have been looking at either this or something of a similar price range.

Radeon x1900 256mb

It would be great if I could get a better card than that one for a similar price , it doesnt have to be ati either, although they are what i’ve always had.  

The benchmark I want is to be able to play things like half life 2, fear, command and conquer – tiberium wars etc on full detail, cos at the mins I play them on low/medium.   I would like s-video out too, as I hunted for an s-video cable for weeks and got one nice and cheap  lol.

People Actually Visit?!?!

Looking at my sites stats tonight, I have had 4,925 hits today alone!

I have had 3000+ 2 days in a row now, but I thought it was just a random spike type thing, but since its happened for a 3rd day I thought I’d mention it   Along with a strong week this takes my hits for the month upto 20,161 and counting!

I wonder if anyone can guess why i’ve had a sudden rise in hits?  haircut anyone?  lol

Just like to say thank you to anyone who has visited the site and left comments over the last month!

As requested, I have found a similar thing to the Virtual Barbershop, its called Cereni Holphonic.  This one (in my opinion) isn’t as good as the barbershop, but still quite good.  it involves matches, but thats all i’ll say

Home Improvement

Most people who know me will know that Home Improvement is my favourite TV show!!!

It stars Tim Allen as a DIY tv show host, and basically anything he touches, he wants to modify to have “more power!”  he normally destroys whatever he is working on…

Here are a couple of videos of my favourite moments from season 1.  I’ll probably post more clips of the show in time

Second, tim is pretending to drive his new hot rod! a running theme of the whole program is tim and his hot rod, he buys it as scrap and restores it!
