I’m still here…

Just a quick note, Sorry I’ve been away for ages! I will be back properly in the next fews days. I havent been around for a while because, firstly my site was brought down by people miss using the virtual barbershop! and secondly, it seems some Telephone Companies and ISP’s aren’t interested in keeping customers!

BT reckoned I hadn’t paid them, and told AOL that I wouldn’t be using my broadband on this number again and to disconnect it! I have subsequently got my phone back on and then I’m waiting for AOL to reactivate my broadband again. But they have given me free dial up!!! until then. woo hoo.

Once my broadband is back up I will be posting lots more and I will have new content etc…

Calling All Gamers

I am after a new graphics card for my PC, as mine is a little weak for my liking.

My current system is: A dell Dimension 5100 – 3.0ghz Pentium 4, 1.50gb of ram (ddr i believe) 80gb hard drive.  The current graphics card is an ati x300 se 128mb hypermemory pci-e. 

I have been looking at either this or something of a similar price range.

Radeon x1900 256mb

It would be great if I could get a better card than that one for a similar price , it doesnt have to be ati either, although they are what i’ve always had.  

The benchmark I want is to be able to play things like half life 2, fear, command and conquer – tiberium wars etc on full detail, cos at the mins I play them on low/medium.   I would like s-video out too, as I hunted for an s-video cable for weeks and got one nice and cheap  lol.

Who Would Buy This?!?!

After some random clickage round the net (i spend alot of time doing that), I came across this strange story on ananova.com. 

A stone growing long white hair was given a price of 10 million yuan (£650,000) at an art exhibition.

The stone, exhibited at the 3rd China (International) Treasure Stone Exhibition, is around 30 cm long and has 15cm long white hair.

Staff of the exhibition say the hair must be the remains of a kind of fungus, which grows on the surface of the stone and makes it look like a hairy head, reports Tianfu Morning News.

People Actually Visit?!?!

Looking at my sites stats tonight, I have had 4,925 hits today alone!

I have had 3000+ 2 days in a row now, but I thought it was just a random spike type thing, but since its happened for a 3rd day I thought I’d mention it   Along with a strong week this takes my hits for the month upto 20,161 and counting!

I wonder if anyone can guess why i’ve had a sudden rise in hits?  haircut anyone?  lol

Just like to say thank you to anyone who has visited the site and left comments over the last month!

As requested, I have found a similar thing to the Virtual Barbershop, its called Cereni Holphonic.  This one (in my opinion) isn’t as good as the barbershop, but still quite good.  it involves matches, but thats all i’ll say

VENOM!!!!

With the build up tho spiderman 3 growing to a near on frenzy, I was randomly clicking round the the web when I came across this…  An image of VENOM!!!!  How cool does he look?!?!

Then after more clickage, I found an english TV spot for him, I haven’t seen it televised yet, but I’m sure that will come soon enough.

Yet again i’ll say HOW COOL!?!?!

Home Improvement

Most people who know me will know that Home Improvement is my favourite TV show!!!

It stars Tim Allen as a DIY tv show host, and basically anything he touches, he wants to modify to have “more power!”  he normally destroys whatever he is working on…

700!!!

Just a quick update, the site has had over 700 hits just today!  That is the biggest total for single day on the website so far, that is bigger than whole months in the past.  I’d Like to thank…  This, again, is no doubt a result of the Virtual Barbershop I uploaded a while ago, infact all but 1 hit was looking for it!  I had a mini success with google today, where I was first in the results for virtual barbershop, worldwide.  I seem to have gone back to second now though

Anyway, the running total for this month so far is 3,297.
